The holidays arrived and what to my wondering eyes did appear...eight nights of candles, presents and treats! My first Hanukkah was alot of fun. We lit the menorah each night and said prayers.
Mommy and Daddy gave me a new book each night for 7 nights and then on the eighth I got a cool toy. Mommy made all sorts of neat latkes. She made traditional ones with applesauce - I liked those! Then she made some from sweet potatoes and on another night she made them from apples. I liked those best. We had the leftovers the next morning for breakfast and they were delicious. My friends and family got me gifts too! My favorite was a cool rocket car that lights up and makes sounds from "Uncle" Eric. I had a fantastic holiday.
