So I was a little silly after dinner and Mommy caught in on video. Enjoy both clips!

How to Beat the Heat
It was pretty hot yesterday, so Mommy decided to give Sally a bath. I of course helped and afterward Mommy let me play with the hose. I had the best time. I watered everything. I hope I can do it again tommorrow!
A "Fair"-ly Good Day
Last weekend I went to the Orange County Fair. Mommy and I went early in the morning so we coud explore while it was still cool and not too crowded. It was great.
They had a beach area set up with little cars I got to play on and a big sandbox with lots of buckets and shovels. They also had a toy area that was for kids just my size. I tried out most of the chairs and did a little rearranging. We saw so many exciting things.
I was awed by the Chinese dragons that danced right in front of me. The fair had a large livestock area. I got to see cows, sheep, chickens, pigs, goats and rabbits. I even pet a cow and a sheep. One of the best parts of the fair is the food. I had my very first corndog. I loved it!
After lunch I fell asleep in my stroller - I'd had such an exciting morning I was beat! After I woke up, Mommy took me back to the car so we could switch my stroller for my backpack. The fair was getting busy and all I could see from my stroller were legs.
Daddy and our friend Eric met up with us soon afterward. We went to part of the fair with rides and I got to go on a carosel for the first time. I really liked it at first, then I decided I wanted to get off. Mommy thought that was it, but after she put me down I ran right back in line to go on again. I did get a 2nd ride later - Daddy took me.
We all walked around the fair, looking at everything, and eating for the rest of the day. We took a break at the Baja Blues Cantina and I really enjoyed some lemonade. At dusk we got in line for a concert. We saw Wierd Al. He was very funny. I clapped and waved my arms to the music. We all had a very wonderful day. Mommy can't wait to take me again next summer.

Picnic at the Park
Yesterday we went to a picnic at Northwood Park with our congregation Shuvah Yisrael. I had a great time. There were so many good things to eat, space to run around and people with whom to visit. I couldn't decide what to do first.

It was pretty hot out, so I had to stay hydrated.
Sippy cups are the best.
I like trying out all the dfferent fold out chairs.

This one was too hard.
This one wasn't very tasty.
This one was just right.
The picnic just happened to fall on Mommy's birthday weekend so we brought a cake to celebrate. It was delicious! I love cake!

Movin', Movin', Movin'

We've moved - don't worry Mommy is mailing out change of address info shortly! I was a very big helper packing. Last Sunday our friends Emily, Eric, Ben, Marissa, Ben, Rachel and Matt and Saba and Savata helped us move. Couldn't have done it without you all!! Thank you! There were so many boxes! It really wore Sally and I out! We went to sleep right on the floor while Mommy and Daddy finished up. The new house wasn't quire ready so we all got to stay in a hotel (Sally too!). We had lots of fun. The had a big desk and chair in the room which I enjoyed climbing on especially.
Sally just liked the bed.

The next day we did alot of unpacking so we needed a break. We went swimming at the hotel pool.
I love snacks by the pool. Anyway, I am getting used to the new house and like it very much.

Tasty Treats
My Saba and Savta (Grandpa and Grandma) are here visiting from Israel. Today we went to Balboa Island to walk and shop. We looked at the houses and the boats. Mommy bought me a new beach hat and Savta shared her frozen bananna with me. I liked licking the stick best!
We looked at so many neat stores. Before going home, we stopped for frappachinos and Saba shared his whipped cream with me. Boy it was delicious!!!

Saying Goodbye

This week was very sad. As most of you know my dog Dub-Ya hasn't been feeling too well. Wednesday Mommy and Daddy decided that he was hurting too much. We took him to the vet's and said goodbye to him. I didn't understand much of what was going on but I knew Mommy and Daddy were very sad. He was a wonderful playmate and a great napping buddy. We all will miss him very much.

My Favorite Book
My favorite book is Doggies by Sandra Boynton. I love for Mommy and Daddy to read it to me over and over again. (And over again - Mom) Now I can read some of it to myself! Watch me!

June Update
So.......we got some bad news. We have to move! Our landlord is going to move into our house when our lease is up in August. So we have begun to look for a new house. We are not very happy about.
We love our home here and all the amenities. We hope to find something close by.
Here is a picture of me in the tub. Note, I am not in my baby bath-seat. I am a big boy now and don't need it. It took me a little while to convince Mom but eventually she gave in and took the seat out. I enjoy my baths so much more now.
And finally, Mom and Dad think I may have a future as a plumber........

Memorial Day Picnic

Today was Memorial Day so Daddy didn't have to work. Mommy and I got up early and made cinnamon rolls and then got ready to go on a picnic. We packed everything up and headed for the north lake. We found a shady spot under a tree next to the lake to spread our blanket and eat lunch.
We had all sorts of yummy things. I like to share.
It was a beautiful day although a little windy by the water. I ran all over and Daddy had to chase me to make sure I didn't jump into the lake. (As if I would do that! Ha! Ha! Ha!)
Afterwards we walked around to the otherside of the lake to feed the ducks. Daddy let me help push the cooler.
I am a big helper!!! There were alot of ducks. They were mostly mallards but there were some geese too.
We saw a goose mommy and daddy with their 3 goslings. I had so much fun!

Mother's Day
Today was Mommy's second Mother's day and Daddy and I wanted it to be very special. We got up early and made pancakes and gave Mommy flowers and a gift.

Then we took her to the Getty Center in LA which she has been wanting to do for a long time. You have to take a tram to the top which was really neat. The views are spectacular and the gardens are beautiful.

We took the Architecture Tour which Mommy found facinating - I just found more places to run around. There were several fountains - I love fountains. In fact I was trying to pull off my clothes and get into one that I found particularly inviting!
The exhibits themselves were amazing. Mommy liked the Van Gogh very much as well as the Monet. We also saw several Degas, a Renoir, a Rembrandt and a Manet. There was also a painting by a lesser known artist that Mommy liked but now that we are home she can't remember the name. We'll have to try and look it up later. All in all it was a really nice day.

Park and Pier

Yesterday Mommy took me to meet some friends at the Irvine Regional Park.
Daniel, Josiah, Jonathan, Noah and even baby Courtlynn came along.
We walked and played at the playground, we had a picnic lunch and we saw some terrific animals. There were hundreds of squirrels, ponies and horses, and a peacock that came almost right up to us!

Then today, Mommy and I drove to Huntington Beach to see our friend Baruch's new store. We got an excellent parking spot - that's our silver PT Cruiser right out front. We shopped and walked out onto the pier.
I fell asleep on the way home. It was a good thing I got my rest because I got to help Mommy give the dogs a bath in the afternoon. I put on a swimmy diaper and we went onto the patio and squirted them with the hose. Mommy squirted me too! This evening Daddy rode me on his bike to the lake while Mommy walked the dogs there and then we fed the ducks together. We've had a very full week!!!!!!! (Also, Mommy is complaining that I have grown out of most of my p.j.s and we have to go shopping. Sounds like we have a plan for next week!)
