Water Baby

My grandma and grandpa have been visiting from Israel this week. We have been having a great time. Today was my first visit to the pool. Mom decked me out in swim shorts, shirt, sun glasses and a big hat to protect me from the sun. I wasn't to sure about the water at first. I thought mom was crazy putting me in water fully clothed! But after a few minutes I realised it was really neat. I can't wait to go back!

Mother's Day

This was my mommy's first Mother's Day. Daddy and I got up early and made her breakfast (Dub-ya supervised). And then Daddy and I got ready to go out for a while and give mommy some time off.
We walked around the lake and looked at duckies for about 2 hours and then came home for a nap.
What a great day!!

Passover

This week I celebrated Passover for the first time. The day started with Mommy reading me my new book "Sammy Spider's First Passover." I like the pictures and listened to the whole book! Later we got dressed up and went to a huge Seder with our congregation. There were hundreds of people there. Everyone said I looked adorable. Mommy had me wear my yarmulke. Aren't I cute?!!!! I had a great time! (Actually, I slept through a big part of it!) My friend Noah was there. Here's a picture of him with his grandpa, Ron and me with his grandma Kay.
I like his aunt Chellie too - she's awesome!!! There was lots of music and dancing. I liked watching the dancers. I was a very good boy and fussed very little even though the dinner lasted about 4 hours! Then Mommy bundled me up and we went home in the car - I love riding in the car!

March

Sorry I haven't let my mom update recently. I have been keeping her very busy. This month I did alot: I went to my first Purim celebration, had my first St. Patrick's day, and I went to my first wedding. (I was a very good boy for all of them!) I also had my 2nd month check up with my doctor and I am now 12 pounds! I also had my first vaccinations and I didn't like them one bit!! Here are a few pictures of me from this past month.

Bath Time

About 10 days after my bris, I was ready for my first official bath in the tub. I didn't like it very much, but boy was I clean and cute afterward!

Bris

Eight days after I was born, it was time for my bris (circumcision). The mohel came to the house and my parents invited all the family and many close friends.





My Grandpa Ken was the Sendak (he held me during the procedure). Everyone gathered around and blessings were said. Before the actual procedure, they let me suck on some gauze with a little wine. Tasty!

I was very good and didn't cry at all. Afterward, my Rabbi, Larry Feldman spoke. My mom missed most of that because I woke up and wanted to eat!

In the beginning...............................

I was due on January 31, 2006, but I decided I wanted to meet my mommy and daddy a little sooner. I sent them to the hospital on Wednesday the 25th and met them 17 hours later at 2:00 pm on January 26th. My mommy looks a little shell shocked! My first visitor was my Rabbi Larry Feldman; he was there about an hour after I was born. He prayed with my parents - they are sure going to need it because I love to be held all the time!!!
